Sarita Shah John, DDS has received extensive training in oral conscious sedation and hospital dentistry. Her residency program in pediatric dentistry included teaching and research, as well as dental care in the operating room and emergency room at LeBonheur Children’s Medical Center and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
A board certified Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Shah has been practicing dentistry for children for more than fifteen years. In addition to private practice, Dr. Shah is an Assistant Clinical Professor at Baylor College of Dentistry, where she trains residents and dental students in clinical pediatric dentistry. Dr. Shah is also a Consultant and Board Examiner for the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Shah was raised in the San Francisco Bay Area before relocating to the Dallas Metroplex. She and her husband are active members of their church, and have a heart for mentoring teens and young adults. In her spare time, Dr. Shah enjoys Bible study, dance, cooking, entertaining and traveling. On a hot Texas summer day you may even find her at one of the many local water parks!
